How an EcoChaleur installation works
Our four-step process, from the first contact to commissioning. 25-year warranty on the soapstone, personal follow-up by our technical team, and coordination of the regional grant application when applicable.

Quote and thermal assessment
Online request via the form. Our technical team visits your home to measure insulation, the exposure of each room, and identify the appropriate power for your home. The thermal assessment is free and without obligation.

Energy audit (if regional grant targeted)
For heat pump water heaters and heat pumps in Wallonia, an energy audit by a Walloon Region certified auditor is mandatory before signing the quote. Our team directs you to partner auditors available in your municipality.

Installation at your home
Our teams intervene at your home according to the agreed availability. For soapstone radiators, the replacement of convectors is done on the existing electrical circuit. For heat pump water heaters, the installation includes the removal of the old water heater and the connection to the hot water network.

Follow-up and support
After the installation, our team assists you with the mobile application, the initial configuration of the radiators and the monitoring of consumption during the first weeks. The after-sales service remains available throughout the warranty period.

Our headquarters is in Tinlot, in the province of Liège. Our teams operate daily throughout Wallonia (provinces of Liège, Namur, Hainaut, Walloon Brabant, Belgian Luxembourg), the Brussels-Capital Region, and neighboring Flanders. For cross-border workers, we also occasionally operate in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg under certain conditions.

The 25-year warranty
The soapstone is guaranteed for 25 years against any manufacturing defect, cracking, or loss of inertia. This long warranty is made possible by the choice of a natural Finnish material whose dimensional and thermal stability has been industrially proven over several decades.
The electronic components (control board, thermostat, WiFi module, mobile application) are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The EcoChaleur after-sales service remains available throughout the warranty period for diagnosis, part replacement and technical support.

Installer's legal certifications
EcoChaleur works with installers who have all the legal certifications required for the installation of heat pump water heaters, soapstone radiators and heat pumps in Belgium. The specific certifications for subsidized devices (RESCert mentioning Heat pumps in Wallonia, equivalents in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg) are available on request to compile your regional grant application.
