Is EcoChaleur RESCert certified?

The RESCert certification, Heat pumps category, is required in Wallonia to be eligible for certain grants (Prime Habitation heat pump water heater and heat pump). Our partner installers have this certification for the files that require it. The certificate is attached to the quote upon request to compile your regional grant application.

What is the difference between BCE and VAT?

The BCE (Crossroads Bank for Enterprises) is the official Belgian register of all companies. The BCE number identifies the legal entity. The VAT number is derived from the BCE number and confirms the subjection to VAT. For EcoChaleur, BCE and VAT share the same base: BE 1024.631.190.

How do I check if an installer is compliant?

Three things to check: their BCE number must be active on kbo.fgov.be, their professional civil liability insurance must be up to date (certificate on request), and for heat pump water heaters and heat pumps in Wallonia, their RESCert number must be valid (search on rescert.be).

What happens in the event of a dispute?

Before any dispute, the after-sales service seeks an amicable solution. If the situation is not resolved, you can refer the matter to the consumer ombudsman (mediationconsommateur.be) who offers free mediation. As a last resort, the competent court is that of the company's registered office (Liège for EcoChaleur). The general conditions detail the full procedure.

All our partners are checked on their certifications, insurance and history. They operate in the name and on behalf of EcoChaleur, and the invoice is issued by EcoChaleur.

EcoChaleur (Advanced Group SRL) is registered with the Belgian BCE under the number BE 1024.631.190. This registration is the first condition to be able to issue invoices with VAT and invoice services in Belgium. It is public and verifiable on the BCE website.

Professional civil liability insurance

The company has professional civil liability insurance covering damage caused to third parties during an intervention at your home. This insurance is essential for working on residential electrical and plumbing installations. The updated certificate is available on request for your file.

Legal qualifications for electrical installations
